The world is forced to think about alternate energy sources because fossil fuel stocks are unreliable, harmful, and depleting quickly. Deployments of microgrids powered by renewable some the most economical, effective, dependable, sustainable answers this problem. design a power system with least amount economic environmental impact main challenge currently facing climate change disasters on scale that has never been seen before. As result, there an urgent need transition resources meet demands. This study examines creation hybrid microgrid electrical load requirements King Saud University campus in Riyadh utilizing site’s solar wind potential. A software called HOMER Pro Version 3.14.5 used simulate planned system. can run numerous simulations while taking into account various configurations. ultimate objective choose best combination different create low costs, dependability, minimal GHG emissions, high penetration energy. solar, wind, battery connected grid was shown be advantageous choice terms cost (COE), net present (NPC), operational emissions after ran simulations. economically way demands university still achieving more than 82% use optimal architecture. In study, ideal configuration subjected sensitivity analysis confirm system’s performance. as benchmark for examining potential usage education sector Saudi Arabia particular any educational facility worldwide general.
